Not too long ago, “handheld vibration analyzer” meant “a four- or five-pound brick that needs two hands to hold.” Now, thanks to Datastick, it means “an 11-ounce device that you can easily hold in one hand and carry around in your pocket.” At the end of the day, the data goes into our Excel-compatible PC software for analysis, machine histories, and reports. Datastick is consultant-friendly because every consultant has Excel and we encourage data sharing. But what if you’re miles from anywhere and need an answer NOW? Our exclusive SiteConnex VSA-2215 combines all of the features of our vibration spectrum analyzers with an Internet-enabled Treo smartphone. Take measurements, email them to an analyst or plant manager, and talk about the situation while you’re still in the field -- all on the same device. Then get immediate advice and repair authorizations by return email or text message.
