Venue/HotelThe venue for MFPT 2009 will be the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dayton, OH. This hotel gives us an excellent location in downtown Dayton, a short walk from the historic Oregon District, which features some excellent upscale dining including Jay's seafood restaurant, Pacchia, and Coco's. We have arranged a block of rooms at a special conference rate of only $99 per night + applicable state and local taxes (currently 13%). We have also arranged a small block of rooms at the per diem rate for government attendees, which will be available on a 'first come first served' basis. The hotel package includes free parking for the duration of your stay and free wireless internet access throughout the majority of the hotel. Traveling to DaytonDayton is easily accessible by air from Dayton International Airport (13 miles to the Hotel), Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (67 miles to the Hotel) or Port Columbus International Airport (82 miles to the Hotel). There are a number of direct flights from Europe to Cincinnati from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London Gatwick, Paris and Rome. Alternatively you may wish to plan a driving route. Other Dayton AttractionsArrive early for the conference or depart late and take advantage of some of the outstanding attractions that Dayton has to offer.
