The venue for our joint MFPT/ISA 2013 Conference will be the Wyndham Cleveland at PlayhouseSquare in Cleveland, OH.  The Hotel is an upscale venue located in Cleveland's vibrant theater district.  It has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and has offered us an excellent accommodation package for our 2013 Conference with ISA.

MFPT/IIS have arranged a block of rooms at a special MFPT/IIS Conference Group Rate of $139 per night (+ applicable state and local taxes, currently 16.25%), a rate the hotel will honor either side of the conference dates.  A limited number of rooms is also available, for government personnel only, at the per diem rate.  The hotel package includes and complimentary wireless internet access throughout the hotel.  Overnight valet parking is $20.

Room Reservations

The Wyndham's cut-off date for room reservations at the Special Conference Group Rate is 22 April 13.  Reservations may be made in one of the three following ways:

• Using this special MFPT/IIS web link (this link works for non-government rooms only; government attendees will need to call the Wyndham Hotel direct to reserve one of the limited block of government per diem rate rooms - see third bullet below)

• Calling the Wyndham toll-free central reservations number +1 (800) 996-3426  and mentioning  "ISA MFPT 2013"

• Calling the hotel direct on +1 216 615 7500 and mentioning  "ISA MFPT 2013" [Government attendees need to use this third method]

Traveling to Cleveland

Cleveland is easily accessible by air via Cleveland Airport, from where it is a 14 mile, 20 minute journey to the Wyndham Hotel by taxicab (about $30).

You can also take public transportation (see RTA map) from the airport (a $2.25 Fare): take the RTA Rapid Train (at the airport follow signs to lower level station) to Downtown Cleveland, Tower City Center.  Then take the escalator up to Public Square.  A complimentary E-Line Trolley is available from 7 am to 7pm from Public Square to the Wyndham Hotel on Euclid Avenue (it is a 7-block walk from Tower City Center to the Hotel).  Alternatively, the taxicab fare from Tower City Center to the Wyndham is about $3.

The following directions may help if you are driving yourself; note that the Wyndham provides Valet Parking for a $20 overnight fee:

• From Cleveland Hopkins Airport: Highway 71 North to East 9th Street.  Take East 9th Street to Euclid Avenue and turn right. Wyndham Hotel on right hand side

• From the South: Highway 71 or 77 North to East 9th Street.  Take East 9th Street to Euclid Avenue and turn right. Wyndham Hotel on right hand side.

• From the West: Highway 90 East to Downtown Cleveland. Exit East 9th Street to Euclid Avenue and turn right. Wyndham Hotel on right hand side.

• From the East: Highway 90 West to Downtown Cleveland.  Exit East 9th Street to Euclid Avenue and turn right. Wyndham Hotel on right hand side.
