Information for Potential Exhibitors and Sponsors

Sponsor a Break!

As an alternative to exhibiting, companies and organizations are welcome to sponsor a break or meal during the conference:

  • Morning and afternoon breaks: $500

  • Breakfast: $750

  • Luncheon: $1,000

Companies interested in so doing should contact the MFPT Executive Director to negotiate the amount and type of publicity, advertising and “podium time” that they would like in return for their support and in keeping with the level of sponsorship selected.

Exhibit Space

Both six foot tables and eight by ten foot booths are available for exhibitors.  Each location includes a 6 ft table and two chairs; the booths include back and side drapery.  The cost per table is $950 and the cost per booth is $1350.  The fee for either includes:

  • Registration for two Company representatives to man the booth, and have full access to the technical Conference

  • Display of your company logo and description on this website

Exhibitors may add additional representatives, either at the full conference attendee rate or, for $250 each, representatives who will remain in the exhibitor area and not attend any technical sessions.  These representatives may attend all the social functions.  Please contact Rick Wade by email or phone (937 256 2285) if you are interested in using this option.

Exhibitors who reserve space by January 29, 2011 will also be profiled in the MFPT 2011 feature issue of SOUND & VIBRATION magazine.

Information about the exhibitor hall layout and the registration form can be found on this website.  Current Exhibitors and available exhibit spaces will be shown as reservations are received.  The Exhibitor timing schedule is as follows:

¹ These are the principal exhibitor traffic times; however, the Exhibitor Hall will be open through the day should exhibitors wish to man their booths or meet with attendees at other times.

Shipments - Please Note Change from Previous Years

In a change to previous years, we are requesting this year that you use our appointed Drayage service from Dunmar Exhibit Services (DES), who are based locally to Virginia Beach.  This will the avoid hotel space and liability issues that we have faced in the past, and should simplify the delivery and recovery of your exhibit materiel.  Although they will levy a small charge from you for their services, Dunmar will corral any items you ship to them, deliver them to your booth in time for set up, store your containers during the Conference, and collect your items after the Conference to deliver them to your designated carrier (since we do not have a designated 'common carrier' for MFPT 2011).

In order to use their services, please complete the forms below and fax (757) 461-5192 them to DES.  Note that:

  • The service you require will be Service A (see Page 3 of the form): $30 + tax for each package under 25lb; more for heavier or crated items

  • You need to ensure your items arrive at Dunmar by Thursday 5 May 2011

  • There are labels on Page 5 to help identify your packages when shipping them to Dunmar before the Conference
